IBM Contribution
For the 2006-2007 school year, IBM awarded our school a translating service grant called, “Traducelo Ahora”. This grant provided two-way translation between teachers and parents in Spanish and English.
That same year, IBM donated 7 “KidSmart” learning centers. Included in each center was a brand new computer encased in a Little Tikes computer desk. Each center also came equipped with a variety of learning software in English and Spanish.
For the 2007-2008 school year, IBM has continued in its commitment to our students, parents and community. IBM has donated 10 more new computers to our school. Also, as part of ‘Hispanic Heritage’ month, IBM will be providing an all expense paid field trip for our fifth grade students to the Orlando Science Center. During this field trip, students will celebrate the Hispanic culture with IBM and Orange County Government representatives.
You can experience wonderful websites and explore the portals of the world. These websites have also been provided through IBM’s Corporate Community Relations.
